We provide a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health services, including: Outpatient Psychiatry Individual Therapy Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) through the Oasis Psychiatric Day Program Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS & dTMS) Spravato® (Esketamine) for Treatment-Resistant Depression Our providers work alongside each other in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and exceptional patient outcomes. Position Overview Oasis Behavioral Health Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment with in-person, virtual, or hybrid opportunities . The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions. Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff, the PMHNP will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment & Diagnosis Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments. Diagnose psychiatric disorders utilizing DSM-5 criteria and evidence-based clinical practices. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated. Medication Management Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications. Educate patients and families regarding medications, expected benefits, side effects, and treatment adherence. Monitor medication efficacy while ensuring safe prescribing practices. Therapeutic Interventions Provide supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation during medication management visits. Promote healthy coping strategies and recovery-oriented care. Coordinate treatment with therapists, primary care providers, schools, family members, and community resources when appropriate. Crisis Assessment & Management Evaluate psychiatric emergencies and acute mental health presentations. Develop safety plans and coordinate higher levels of care when clinically appropriate. Collaborate with emergency departments, hospitals, and crisis services. Documentation Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation within the electronic health record (EHR). Complete treatment plans, progress notes, medication documentation, and all required clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaboration Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary treatment planning. Support a collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on quality care and positive patient outcomes. QualificationsRequired Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. Active and unrestricted Massachusetts PMHNP license. Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to employment). Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education abilities. Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate psychiatric care. Preferred Experience in outpatient psychiatry. Experience working within collaborative multidisciplinary behavioral health teams. Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Experience or interest in innovative behavioral health treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato® (Esketamine) . New graduates with active Massachusetts licensure are strongly encouraged to apply.
