We provide integrated primary care, psychiatric/behavioral health, substance use treatment (including MAT/Suboxone), Hepatitis C treatment, and PrEP/HIV prevention services to a diverse, underserved patient population. Our behavioral health patients present with a broad range of needs — from substance use disorders to serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. Position Summary We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our provider team and deliver outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment to adult patients. This role is central to our behavioral health service line and offers significant flexibility in schedule and practice setting. Schedule & Practice Setting Part-time or full-time considered Minimum of 2 to 3 days per week in-person at our Margate location Remaining days may be conducted via telemedicine Flexible scheduling to accommodate the right candidate Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Develop and manage medication treatment plans for adult patients Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up and medication management Treat patients across a broad behavioral health spectrum, including substance use disorders and serious mental illness Collaborate with primary care, counseling, and outreach staff for coordinated, whole-person care Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the clinic's EHR system Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including DEA and controlled substance prescribing requirements Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Florida APRN license Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through ANCC or equivalent Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain, state-specific) Active NPI number Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to pass credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers Preferred Qualifications Experience treating substance use disorders / MAT (Suboxone) prescribing experience Experience with community health or underserved patient populations Experience with EHR systems (AdvancedMD a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) a plus
