CareATC Advantages Part-time, 20-hour-per-week schedule No nights or weekends Malpractice and tail coverage provided Comprehensive Benefits package Low- or no-cost clinic services and medications for employees and dependents Collaborative, team-based clinic environment Opportunity to provide both primary care and occupational health services About the Job We're looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team in Providence, RI, serving employees of PPL Corporation and its affiliate, Rhode Island Energy, through the Healthy for Life Clinic. In this role, you'll provide a blend of primary care and occupational health , including preventive and acute care, chronic disease management, DOT physicals, workplace injury evaluation, return-to-work assessments, and regulatory medical exams. You'll work closely with the clinic team to support both the everyday healthcare needs of patients and the health and safety needs of the Rhode Island Energy workforce. This is a part-time opportunity to care for a consistent employee population, build meaningful patient relationships, and practice in a model that prioritizes prevention, continuity, and quality over volume.

Health Center Hours:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM What You'll Do Provide in-person and virtual primary care focused on prevention, wellness, and continuity of care Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions and develop personalized care plans Prescribe medications and order and review diagnostic testing Perform DOT physicals, work-related injury evaluations, return-to-work assessments, regulatory medical examinations, and other occupational health services Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and lifestyle management Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other members of the care team Help create a positive, relationship-centered experience for the employees you serve What You'll Bring Active and unrestricted Rhode Island FNP license Current FNP board certification Active DEA registration Current NRCME certification required Previous occupational health experience required , including DOT physicals, occupational injury management, and return-to-work evaluations 2+ years of primary care experience preferred Experience treating patients ages 2+ Familiarity with HIPAA and a strong commitment to patient confidentiality Ability to meet CareATC and client credentialing requirements The CareATC Core4 Committed
