We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.Duties:
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat common women's health acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and medication adherence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct utilization review to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources
- Provide counseling and education related to women's health
- Perform pessary placement
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in acute care settings
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and diagnosing illnesses
- Ability to manage chronic conditions effectively
- Excellent communication skills to establish rapport with patients and their families
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems for documentation purposes, E Clinical Works
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team _ Experience with pessary placement
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner) preferably prior Women's Health experience
