CuraWound About the Role CuraWound is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered wound care across skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and home settings in Henry County / West Tennessee, easy commute from Murray, KY, Camden, Dover, or Clarksville. This is a 1099 independent contractor role for one to two days per week offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient healing outcomes. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide ongoing wound care management using evidence-based approaches Collaborate with facility staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams Document visits clearly and thoroughly in the EMR Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and care best practices Adjust treatment strategies based on healing progress Serve as a clinical partner supporting improved standards of wound care across multiple settings What We're Looking For Active Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant license (FNP, AGNP, PA-C or similar) Current Tennessee NP / PA license and DEA (or eligibility) Experience in wound care; wound care certification preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently across varied care environments Reliable transportation for local travel Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Why Join CuraWound Flexible scheduling Autonomy in your daily practice Opportunity to impact outcomes across multiple care settings Supportive clinical team and streamlined workflows
