Job Description

A Tennessee-based healthcare organization is seeking a Hospitalist NP/PA to join their facility in Kingsport. This role supports inpatient hospitalist coverage with a focus on day and night shift care for a high-volume patient population.  About the

Day and night shifts
Schedule:
Monday to
Sunday Hours:
Multiple shifts available, including: 7am to 5pm; 7am to 7pm; 7pm to 7am; 10am to 8pm; or, 8pm to 6am
Setting:
Inpatient Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient hospitalist care for adult patients across assigned shifts Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute medical conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team Document patient assessments, plans, and ongoing care in the medical record Manage a high-volume patient census while maintaining quality of care
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Active, unrestricted Tennessee NP or PA license Active Tennessee DEA license and prescriptive authority, as applicable Active board certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA ACLS and PALS certification Ability to provide documentation of recent case logs and required immunization/tuberculosis screening records
Desired Skills:
Two or more years of recent hospitalist or inpatient specialty experience Experience working night shifts in a hospital setting
