Job Description

Description General Summary:
The Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider (APP) — Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN/NP) — works in collaboration with orthopaedic surgeons in our Selmer location to provide high-quality care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. The APP will evaluate patients, order and interpret diagnostics, manage perioperative care, and provide ongoing education and support.
Positions:
Full-time Hours:
M-F, 8-5
(no nights, weekends or holidays)
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program. Current national certification (NCCPA for PA;
AANP/ANCC
for NP). Active, unrestricted Tennessee state license (PA-C or APRN). Prescriptive authority (DEA license if prescribing controlled substances). Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Orthopaedic, surgical, or musculoskeletal care experience preferred; new graduates with a strong interest in orthopaedics considered.
Skills & Competencies:
Advanced knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology, and orthopaedic conditions. Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills. Proficiency in common orthopaedic procedures (casting, injections, wound closure, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with EMR documentation and clinical workflows. Commitment to patient safety, compliance, and high-quality care. Location(s) Selmer
