Uses prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations. Enhances quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Specifications Experience Minimum Required 1 year clinical experience functioning in the nurse mid-wife role. Preferred/Desired Education Minimum Required Either a Masters or Doctoral level as a nurse practitioner. Preferred/Desired Training Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Minimum Required Computer literate. CPR/BLS Preferred/Desired Licensure Hold current certification by a national certifying body recognized by the Board of Nursing Current license by the state they practice.
