A Primary Care Nurse Practitioner provides primary care and nursing care to patients. Performs physical exams, orders diagnostic tests, and provides medications. Works in a physician's office or other healthcare facility, under the direction of a physician. Performs work similar to that of a physician assistant but has different medical training and degree.

Requirements:
Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nursing OR licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board or the ability to obtain prior to employment BLS obtained by the American Heart Association Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
