Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations. Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to guide patient care decisions. Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as necessary. Manage acute pain management strategies and provide education on health maintenance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide telehealth services as needed to enhance patient access to care. Educate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices. Qualifications Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding and CPT coding for accurate medical billing. Strong clinical skills in areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, and behavioral health. Experience with procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, and IV insertion is highly desirable. Knowledge of critical care practices and experience in Level I or II trauma centers is a plus. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
