Job Description
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic illnesses Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures Prescribing age-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation Prescribing pharmacologic treatments Primary care services for adults and children Performing minor procedures Counseling and educating patients about preventive measures to avoid illness Diagnose and treat emotional, mental and behavioral disorders Assess patients and provide recommendations for treatments Use literature, research and translate complex concepts and use them to treat patients Provide patients with referrals to other therapists, clinics or facilities as needed Participate in off-hours call rotation Conduct case management tasks Conduct administrative tasksEducation & Experience:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent PA program degree Current valid state medical license Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA 1+ years experience in family medicine Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualitiesJob Type:
