Mid Level Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Cedar Park, Texas Position Description :
The Mid Level Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant within this position will provide care at a Family Practice Clinic with primary focus on Functional and Integrative medicine.
Principal Responsibilities:
Ensures effective communications between the medical team and all other clinical and support-service team members. Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of procedures and treatments in accordance with organization's policy and State and/or Federal guidelines. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments. Administer IV Therapy Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and document findings. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in medication administration, including intravenous therapy.
- Strong case management skills to effectively coordinate patient care.
- Knowledge of catheter care procedures and ability to catheterize patients if necessary.
- Familiarity with laboratory tests and ability to interpret results accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
