As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to patients, diagnose and treat illnesses, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Your duties will include:

• Conducting physical examinations and medical histories
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications and other treatments
• Educating patients on disease prevention and management
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Health coaching: Ability to provide health coaching to patients, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and behavior modifications

• Ophthalmology:

  Knowledge and experience in providing ophthalmic care, including conducting eye exams and prescribing appropriate treatments.
• Basic coding: Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) coding and clinical coding for accurate billing and reimbursement purposes.
• Basic life support: Certification in basic life support (BLS) techniques to provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies.

• Cerner:

  Proficiency in using Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation, order entry, and retrieval of patient information.

• Venipuncture:

  Skill in performing venipuncture procedures for blood collection purposes.
• Wellness exams: Ability to conduct Medicare wellness and commercial insurance annual exams.
