  • 105,000 annually (depending on experience) About the Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP‑C) to join our adult primary care practice and take over an established patient panel from a retiring NP.
This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or early‑career NP , as you will receive hands‑on training and mentorship during the transition. Our clinic provides a blend of traditional primary care, chronic disease management, hormone therapy, and medical weight loss. You will work under a supportive supervising physician who is based at another clinic location. Why This Role Is a Great Fit ✔ Entry‑level friendly — full training provided You will be trained directly by the retiring NP for a smooth transition. ✔ Established patient panel You inherit a full, stable schedule — no need to build your own panel. ✔ Chronic care + metabolic medicine focus You'll manage diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, obesity, metabolic syndrome, preventive care, and mental health medication management. ✔ Hormone therapy & weight‑loss medicine (training provided)
Includes:
Hormone pellet insertion procedures Semaglutide & tirzepatide protocols Phentermine management Lifestyle & metabolic counseling ✔ Mix of in‑person + telehealth visits Variety and flexibility for both you and your patients. ✔ Supportive supervising physician Available for collaboration, chart review, and clinical guidance. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients ages 18-100 Manage chronic conditions using evidence‑based guidelines Conduct in‑person and telehealth visits Perform hormone pellet procedures (training provided) Manage weight‑loss programs including GLP‑1 medications and phentermine Review labs, diagnostics, and medication plans Coordinate care with specialists when needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Participate in chronic care management workflows Provide patient education and promote preventive care Collaborate with supervising physician and clinic leadership Requirements Current Texas FNP license (FNP‑C required) New graduates welcome — training provided Interest in chronic care, hormone therapy, and weight‑loss medicine Strong communication and patient‑relationship skills Ability to work independently with physician support Comfortable with telehealth platforms and EMR systems Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care
