Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with fluency in Vietnamese or Spanish to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your language skills to bridge communication gaps and deliver culturally competent services. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across various specialties, including primary care, urgent care, and specialty clinics, ensuring patients receive exceptional care tailored to their needs. Your expertise will help improve health outcomes and enhance patient satisfaction through compassionate, efficient, and precise medical services. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews in Vietnamese or Spanish. Prescribe medications and treatment plans following clinical guidelines and within collaborative practice agreements. Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertions, phlebotomy, and basic wound care with attention to sterile technique. Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse settings including outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Assist with diagnostic evaluations involving laboratory specimen collection, imaging orders, and interpretation of results. Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health strategies in Vietnamese or Spanish. Requirements Valid NP or PA license with current certification to practice in the relevant state. Fluency in Vietnamese or Spanish is essential; strong communication skills in both languages are required. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, and individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Ability to perform clinical procedures including suturing, catheterization, spinal tap procedures, dermal fillers (nice-to-have), and basic life support certification. Critical care experience such as ICU or emergency medicine is preferred; experience in hospital medicine or Level I/II trauma centers highly valued. Strong case management skills with experience in discharge planning, utilization review, hospice & palliative medicine are advantageous. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of medical documentation. $68,819.29 - $129,000.00 per year
