Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health support for diverse populations. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Skills Proven experience working with behavioral health populations across various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, or assisted living facilities. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication management and drug interactions. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations when necessary. Skilled in crisis intervention techniques and triage procedures for urgent mental health needs. Experience prescribing controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulations and CPT coding for billing purposes. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
