How you'll make an impact in this role As a PRN Acute Care APRN or PA with Trauma and General Surgery, you will have the opportunity to provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician. You will work closely with the Trauma Surgeons on call.

Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:

Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care. Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers ormunity resources. Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options andmunity resources. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.
