This job primarily entails taking care of patients admitted to skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities, and assisted living facilities. Adequate physician support and oversight will be available.
Responsibilities:
Performing physical exams Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms Creating and contributing to patient care plans Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests Prescribing medication as needed Consulting with healthcare professionals and families Completing charts in a timely manner Physical setting: Nursing home
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, On Call and some weekend coverage
