The Opportunity NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Marble Falls, TX . Three 12 hour shifts per week/ 32-36 hours per week - 130 hours per month, This role offers an excellent fit for providers looking to maintain clinical skills, supplement full-time work, or enjoy flexibility while contributing to a high-performing urgent care environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care and occupational health setting Provide compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with NextCare's mission Communicate clear treatment plans and next steps with patients Document all encounters accurately in the EHR Appropriately code and bill for services Maintain productivity standards consistent with peers Deliver ethical, high-quality clinical care Provide follow-up care as needed Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas PA or NP license Active
DEA NCCPA
certification (PA) or
ANCC/AANP
certification (NP) NP candidates must be certified to treat all ages (e.g., FNP) Bachelor's degree (PA) or Master's degree (NP) Active BLS certification Comfortable treating patients of all ages Proficient with EHR systems Ability to work occasional weekends/holidays Preferred Qualifications Experience interpreting preliminary X-rays Suturing experience Master's degree for PAs Previous experience in urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinics DOT Certification may be required; if not certified, we will register and cover the cost after hire Benefits Eligible providers receive: CME/license reimbursement, malpractice coverage, medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, basic and voluntary life insurance, short- and long-term disability, EAP, critical illness/accident/legal/ID theft coverage, paid time off, and 401(k) participation for all employee statuses.
