  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adult patients. Your expertise will support patient health and wellness through thorough assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and health education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment while utilizing your broad clinical skills and passion for patient-centered care. Duties Conduct detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs. Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses across various age groups, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based practices. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication administration, injections, suturing, and wound care, and other minor skin procedures like punch biopsy or shave biopsy Manage complex disease states requiring ongoing continuity of care Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) system while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide health coaching and education tailored to individual needs, including family planning, pediatrics, geriatrics, women's and men's preventative health Skills Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient management. Expertise in managing diverse medical conditions including infectious disease care, acute pain management, occupational health issues, and emergency medicine protocols. Knowledge of CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate billing and documentation purposes. Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on physiology knowledge and anatomy knowledge for accurate diagnosis. Strong communication skills to effectively triage patients over the phone or in person while providing compassionate care in outpatient settings. Familiarity with healthcare laws including Workers' Compensation law and infection control standards to ensure compliance across all clinical activities.
