Job Description

We are looking for someone who is: Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a broad patient population, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with complex medical needs. As a key provider, you will utilize your advanced nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and manage health conditions, ensuring optimal outcomes while fostering trusting relationships with patients and their families. Your expertise in clinical evaluation and treatment planning will contribute to our mission of improving community health through compassionate and innovative care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues. Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication administration and injections. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like (AdvancedMD) to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Order and interpret lab work and diagnostic tests Engage in patient education and health coaching to promote wellness and disease prevention strategies. Collaborate with the physician and clinical team to ensure high-quality care Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practices. Build long-term relationships with patients and contribute to practice growth Requirements Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from an accredited program in the state of Texas. Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (AdvancedMD preferred but not required) Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and medical terminology. Experience managing a full patient schedule independently with experience in a fast-paced or high volume clinic. Familiarity with billing codes such as CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding for diagnoses is essential for accurate documentation. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams across inpatient and outpatient environments. Additional Skills (Strong Plus) Aesthetics or Med Spa experience (Botox, fillers, IV therapy, weight loss programs, etc.) Women's Health experience Weight Management experience Additional certifications (functional medicine, hormone therapy, aesthetic, etc.) What We Offer Competitive Salary based on experience. Pay:
$105,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
