dedicated Pediatric Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in providing comprehensive pediatric care. Hours of Operation Monday

PM Total Hours:
12-15 hours per week The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience with EMR systems such as EMDs/CGM, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions, performing physical examinations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes for our young patients. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories Manage acute pain, airway management, ventilator support, and emergency interventions as needed Utilize EMR systems such as EMDs for documentation and data management Coordinate diagnostic evaluations including medical imaging, laboratory tests, and radiation therapy referrals Provide education on health coaching, nutrition, family planning, and disease prevention strategies Assist with discharge planning and post-acute care coordination for pediatric patients Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records according to NCQA standards Qualifications Valid certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with pediatric specialization preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with compassionate communication abilities Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining detailed medical records This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to pediatric health care through clinical excellence and ongoing research initiatives.
