Exempt FHQC Loan Repayment Eligible Bilingual in Spanish is a Plus As part of an FHQC, this role is eligible for federal and state loan repayment programs , offering meaningful financial support while you make a community impact. Position Summary The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner functions as an advanced practitioner responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care to patients across the lifespan. This role includes prescriptive authority, independent assessment, and collaborative care in partnership with our medical team. You will apply advanced clinical expertise to evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions while delivering patient education, preventative care, and health counseling. What We Offer Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends & no on-call Closed during major holidays + Holiday Pay 17 days of PTO annually FHQC designation with eligibility for Loan Repayment Programs Supportive, multidisciplinary team environment Opportunities for continuing education and growth Mission-driven organization serving a diverse patient population Essential Duties & Responsibilities Apply advanced specialty knowledge and clinical skills to assess patients and identify actual or potential diagnoses. Obtain comprehensive health histories through patient interviews and physical examinations. Identify risk factors based on clinical evaluation, diagnostic testing, and behavioral assessment.
Provide patient-centered care by:
Assessing and managing acute illnesses, consulting or referring as appropriate. Recommending medications and treatments for common acute conditions. Managing stable, chronic illnesses in accordance with protocols or in collaboration with physicians. Referring and coordinating care for unstable, chronic conditions. Educating and counseling patients on health needs and wellness promotion. Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain active licensure and professional competency through continuing education. Perform other duties as assigned to support excellent patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) recognition Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Certification or eligibility for certification in Women's Health or related specialty Minimum one year of clinical experience in area of practice ACLS certification preferred Commitment to serving patients across diverse socioeconomic backgrounds Strong patient advocacy and commitment to quality health care Physical Demands & Work Environment Occasional standing, walking, sitting, and manual tasks Requires visual, auditory, and communication abilities Indoor clinical setting with moderate noise Join a Team That Makes a Difference If you are passionate about women's health, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want a schedule that supports work-life balance-this is the role for you.
