Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, performing assessments and interpreting diagnostic results. Develops treatment plans, prescribes medications, and educates patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications. Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and maintains accurate documentation. Requires a Master's degree, active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology. Works two days per week on-site, with potential for additional shifts, in a clinical environment with physical and biohazard exposure. Adheres to clinical standards, promotes teamwork, and supports quality improvement initiatives.
