QUALIFICATIONS
Active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner license & DEA Experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioners who are willing to learn cardiology are encouraged to apply Recent Nurse Practitioner graduates who possess RN experience in a Cardiology setting are encouraged to apply Minimum 1
  • year experience in a high
  • volume healthcare setting required eClinicalWorks experience preferred Competency in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management under physician supervision Strong skills in taking detailed patient histories, performing physical examinations, and formulating appropriate care plans Familiarity with common cardiovascular medications, diagnostic studies (ECG, echocardiogram, stress testing, etc.
), and ongoing disease management Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families Accurate and timely clinical documentation Willingness to collaborate closely with physicians, other NPs, and clinical staff Reliability, professionalism, and responsiveness in a busy practice environment
