The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, a passion for patient-centered care, and the ability to work across diverse medical settings. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services, perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic environment that values innovation and excellence. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical histories, utilizing advanced physiology knowledge. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine. Prescribe medications and administer injections or IV infusions while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical protocols. Perform procedures including suturing, catheterization, spinal taps, phlebotomy, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, and tube feeding management. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate documentation and medical records management. Coordinate patient care plans involving discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and telehealth services to enhance patient experience. Engage in clinical research activities or participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance evidence-based practices. Provide specialized care in areas such as hospice & palliative medicine, infectious disease care, occupational health, or post-acute care environments. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure with current certification in relevant specialties; additional certifications in areas like ACLS or BLS are preferred. Demonstrated experience working in diverse healthcare settings including hospital medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency room, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth; experience with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology) and
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding is highly desirable. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure is advantageous. Strong clinical research background or familiarity with infection control protocols enhances patient safety efforts. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to perform diagnostic evaluations efficiently. Knowledge of medical terminology related to cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology (including spinal taps), ophthalmology, and other specialties. Ability to work effectively with individuals of varying ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and those with disabilities or developmental challenges. Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring tools to expand access to care.
