Job Description

Empathetix Wellness is hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner for a consistent Saturday schedule rotating between our South Jordan and Ogden clinics, with additional opportunities for clinic coverage, wellness events, and special events as needed. Reliable transportation and the ability to work at multiple locations are required.
Pay:
$57.00 per hour This role is performance-based and has the potential for pay increases based on patient outcomes, conversion, and clinical contribution.
Schedule:
This position works every Saturday, rotating between:
South Jordan:
10:00 AM - 2:00
PM Ogden:
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM You may also have opportunities to pick up additional hours through: Clinic coverage at other Empathetix locations Wellness events Community and promotional events Special clinic days Provider coverage as needed About the Role Empathetix started as Utah's first medical cannabis clinic and has expanded into a full-spectrum wellness practice. Our providers work with patients across services including: GLP-1 weight management Hormone optimization Ketamine treatment Peptide therapy Neuro and wellness support Medical cannabis evaluations Cannabis evaluations often bring patients through the door, but wellness is a major part of how we continue caring for them long term. We are looking for a provider who can confidently identify patient needs, educate patients on appropriate wellness options, and help guide them into care when clinically appropriate. Responsibilities Wellness Care Conduct consultations for weight loss, hormone therapy, ketamine, peptides, and other wellness services Review labs and build appropriate treatment plans Manage ongoing wellness patients and follow-up care Administer in-clinic treatments including IM injections and B12 injections Educate patients on relevant wellness services and treatment options Participate in wellness and community events as scheduled Medical Cannabis Evaluate patients for eligibility under Utah medical cannabis regulations Provide compliant medical cannabis recommendations Educate patients on safe and responsible use Maintain accurate and compliant documentation Requirements Active, unrestricted Utah NP license Utah RMP certification or willingness to obtain DEA license and Utah Controlled Substance License Comfortable administering injections independently or willing to learn quickly Reliable transportation Available to work every Saturday Comfortable rotating between South Jordan and Ogden Willing to provide occasional coverage at other clinic locations Strong communication skills and genuine interest in wellness medicine About Empathetix We started as Utah's first medical cannabis clinic, but we've revamped into a full-spectrum wellness clinic. GLPs, hormone optimization, ketamine treatment, peptides, neuro support, and ongoing wellness care are the heart of this role. Cannabis evaluations get patients in the door; wellness is how we actually change their lives.
