Job Description Schedule:
Full-Time (4 days/week)
Position Overview:
Join an established, collaborative outpatient team dedicated to delivering high-touch, evidence-based care. You will focus on high-acuity chronic disease management and complex adult/geriatric care for an engaged patient panel.
Scope of Practice:
Patient Population:
Adults and geriatrics (ages 18+); highly educated patient base with approximately 12% Medicare and no Medicaid.
Comprehensive Primary Care:
Management of full-scope chronic and acute conditions including hypertension, diabetes, weight loss management, and preventative health (optional women's health/Pap smears based on provider preference).
Volume & Call:
Daily volume of 16 patients per day. No clinical call required; call is managed by the Lead Physician.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). 2+ years of clinical experience in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care practice preferred (Urgent Care-only background not preferred). Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in Washington, DC and/or Virginia (or eligible to obtain).
