In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes through evidence-based interventions, medication management, and collaborative care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments utilizing clinical knowledge of physiology and behavioral health principles. Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans. Administer injections, including Vivitrol, Sublocade, Antipsychotics, and monitor patient responses to optimize outcomes. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across disciplines such as primary care, behavioral health, and social services to coordinate holistic patient care. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately, documenting all patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA standards. Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care for diverse populations. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and coping strategies. Experience Proven experience working as a PMHNP in an Addiction Medicine based office(s) Prior clinical experience involving patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning within outpatient or inpatient environments. Strong understanding of psychopharmacology.

Pay:

$125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
