Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our client in Springfield, VA, 20598 . This is a full-time contract assignment supporting onsite and remote medical review operations. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Full-time, core hours 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with onsite presence required during the first month of training and as requested
Period of Performance:
12-months with possible extension Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Review electronic Annual Medical Certification (AMC) questionnaires against medical guidelines and clear employees or flag cases needing more information. Contact employees by phone or email within 24 hours to discuss medical concerns and gather any missing documentation. Conduct Fitness for Duty (FFD) reviews and prepare determination letters for physician review and signature. Evaluate complex medical exam records and history for applicants and employees, and recommend a pass or fail status to the physician or federal medical team. Lead collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and nurses on abnormal, complex, or non-standard cases. Support Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) case reviews and litigation, including summarizing records and assisting with affidavit responses. Document all case actions and outcomes in medical records system with accuracy and completeness. Process an average caseload consistent with contract volume requirements, maintaining accuracy and completeness above 95 percent. Respond to internal and external inquiries within 24 hours in accordance with guidelines. Mentor RN staff on advanced case management and contribute to quarterly process improvement reporting. To be considered for this position, you should have: An active Nurse Practitioner license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Direct experience in clinical practice, occupational health, and advanced case management. Experience with Fitness for Duty evaluations and review of complex medical determinations. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and employee contact. Comfort working with electronic medical records systems and automation tools. Pay:
$70.00 - $75.00 per hour
