Job:

Responsibilities:

Conduct physical examinations and record patient medical histories. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and therapies. Perform procedures, such as suturing wounds and administering injections. Provide patient education on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Requirements:

Nurse Practitioner license in VA. Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient conditions accurately. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. Experience using electronic health record systems, such as ECW or similar platforms. Ability to perform physical examinations and assess vital signs accurately. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Prior experience in primary care or a related field is preferred. Expected hours: 20-36 per week.
