Job Description

Taconic Spine is a well-established outpatient Physical Medicine, Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine practice in beautiful southern Vermont seeking a dynamic board certified/board eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our team. Our two attending physicians practice caring and conscientious medicine using a model of patient centered excellence. Our doctors together share over forty five years of specialty practice, including prior experience in: mentoring resident physicians, lecturing medical students and residents, conducting and publishing clinical research, international sports team coverage, and consulting to industry, in addition to maintaining daily full patient schedules. The hospitals we have been employed by and affiliated with are some of the top hospitals in the country. We currently maintain an academic practice mindset, in a small, nurturing environment, perfect for the provider looking to expand their skill set in the world of non-operative musculoskeletal medicine. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys patient centered care focusing on musculoskeletal wellness and an improvement in a patient's quality of life. Prior experience in musculoskeletal medicine is preferred, although not required. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including health care/dental, malpractice, paid holidays and paid time off. Our work schedule is without night, holiday, or weekend call. We are also willing to discuss flexible hours, and the potential for remote hours after an initial orientation period. Our location in Manchester Center Vermont lends itself to an active four-season outdoor lifestyle, including ample opportunities for winter and summer recreation. This is also an ideal family-oriented location, and we are fortunate to have several very strong primary and secondary school opportunities. We look forward to hearing from you.
