Description Join a Mission-Driven Team in Beautiful Central Washington We are a team of over 200 passionate professionals committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care close to home. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary Wound Care Team in a part-time capacity. In this position, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with acute and chronic wounds, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic interpretation Develop, implement, and adjust individualized wound treatment plans using evidence-based practices Perform bedside procedures including: Sharp and mechanical debridement Dressing selection and application Incision and drainage when indicated Application of advanced wound therapies (e.g., negative pressure wound therapy, biologics, compression therapy) Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, imaging, and vascular studies related to wound management Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with the scope of practice and clinic protocols Monitor wound healing progress and modify care plans as needed Work closely with the wound care nurse to ensure coordinated, team-based patient care Collaborate with physicians, specialists, home health agencies, and referring providers to ensure continuity of care Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and care planning meetings Provide patient and caregiver education regarding wound prevention, care techniques, and healing expectations Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic medical record documentation Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control protocols, and clinic policies Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards Requirements Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board certification in NP or PA specialty DEA registration or ability to obtain Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in wound care, dermatology, surgery, vascular care, or related field Proficiency in wound assessment and debridement techniques Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills Strong interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Wound Care Certification (e.g., WCC, CWCN, CWON, or equivalent) Experience with advanced wound care modalities Experience working in an outpatient or specialty clinic setting
