This role involves delivering high-acuity emergent patient assessments and treatments within a busy emergency department supporting 24/7 coverage, with scheduled shifts including days, nights, and weekends. Opportunity Highlights Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner locum tenens Starting ASAP Approximately 45,000 annual ED visits 40-hour MD/DO and 48-hour NP/PA weekly staffing Confirmed shifts supporting 6A-2P, 11A-11P, 2P-10P, 10P-6A, and 11A-11P Acute-care hospital setting with established protocols Recent ED experience required No overnight or ultraspecialized procedures Schedule Details Day, night, and weekend shifts supported Specific shift times confirmed during onboarding Ongoing coverage with flexible scheduling options Clinical Scope High-acuity emergent patient assessments and treatments Trauma and emergent case management within protocols Evaluation, stabilization, and disposition of patients Documentation in electronic medical records Practice Environment This opportunity is based at a regional acute-care hospital serving a broad community.
