Job Description
A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Pulmonary / Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner (Pulm/Sleep APP) to join its growing specialty team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. Position Overview
Provide outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine care for adult patients
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pulmonary conditions such as COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and pulmonary infections
Assess and manage sleep-related disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, and hypersomnia
Conduct patient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning
Collaborate closely with pulmonologists and sleep medicine physicians on comprehensive care plans
Interpret sleep studies, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and diagnostic imaging as appropriate
Educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP therapy, medication management, smoking cessation, and lifestyle modifications
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
Active/eligible DEA registration
Prior experience in pulmonary, sleep medicine, internal medicine, or primary care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
