Job Description

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner - Neurology to join its growing neuroscience team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. Position Overview
  • Provide outpatient neurology care for adult patients in collaboration with neurologists and specialty providers
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological conditions including headaches, epilepsy, neuropathy, Parkinson's disease, dementia, stroke follow-up, and multiple sclerosis
  • Conduct patient consultations, follow-up visits, and ongoing care management
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and primary care providers on treatment planning and care coordination
  • Assist with neurological assessments, medication management, and patient education
  • Interpret and review diagnostic studies including EEGs, MRIs, CT scans, and laboratory results as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Qualifications
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
  • Active/eligible DEA registration
  • Prior experience in neurology, internal medicine, or primary care preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
