Job Description
A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner - Neurology to join its growing neuroscience team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. Position Overview
Provide outpatient neurology care for adult patients in collaboration with neurologists and specialty providers
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological conditions including headaches, epilepsy, neuropathy, Parkinson's disease, dementia, stroke follow-up, and multiple sclerosis
Conduct patient consultations, follow-up visits, and ongoing care management
Collaborate closely with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and primary care providers on treatment planning and care coordination
Assist with neurological assessments, medication management, and patient education
Interpret and review diagnostic studies including EEGs, MRIs, CT scans, and laboratory results as appropriate
Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
Active/eligible DEA registration
Prior experience in neurology, internal medicine, or primary care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
