You will work alongside psychologists, therapists, psychometrists, billing professionals, and administrative staff in a collaborative outpatient setting. Work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary mental health team Receive dedicated scheduling, administrative, billing, and credentialing support Provide both in-person and telehealth services Maintain clinical autonomy within your professional scope Develop a caseload aligned with your experience and clinical interests Serve diverse and historically underserved communities Collaborate closely with psychological assessment and therapy providers Help develop and expand an integrated psychiatric program Grow professionally within an expanding behavioral health practice What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations Diagnose and treat behavioral health and psychiatric conditions Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, adherence, and safety Order and review laboratory studies when clinically appropriate Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment options Conduct suicide, violence, substance-use, and other safety-risk assessments Develop safety plans and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary-care providers, and other professionals Complete refill requests, prior authorizations, and patient communications promptly Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in SimplePractice Follow applicable prescribing, controlled-substance, privacy, and professional requirements Participate in team consultation, meetings, and quality-improvement activities Required Qualifications Graduate degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program Active, unrestricted Washington RN and ARNP credentials Current national PMHNP board certification Active Washington prescriptive authority Active DEA registration or ability to obtain it before prescribing controlled substances Current NPI and ability to complete insurance credentialing Strong psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication-management, and safety-planning skills Excellent communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care Ability to provide in-person and telehealth services as assigned Preferred Qualifications Outpatient behavioral health or group-practice experience Experience treating children, adolescents, and/or adults Experience with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and complex presentations Experience supporting neurodivergent patients Familiarity with SimplePractice or a comparable electronic health record Experience completing insurance prior authorizations Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly Spanish/Mandarin/Vietnamese Experienced PMHNPs and strong newer graduates with relevant psychiatric training are encouraged to apply.
