Benefits 401(k) with employer contribution Predictable weekday schedule Generous paid time off (PTO) Experienced, collaborative clinical peers Accessible, supportive Medical Directors Strong administrative infrastructure What You'll Do In this role, you will: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic wounds across multiple care settings Develop and implement evidence-based wound care treatment plans Ensure care delivery meets current clinical standards and best practices Provide education and guidance to facility staff on wound management and prevention Address related acute and chronic primary care concerns and determine medical urgency Order and interpret diagnostic labs and imaging as appropriate Prescribe medications within scope of practice Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialty providers as needed Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and billing Apply strong clinical judgment in complex and evolving care situations Travel onsite to multiple facilities within the Madison service area What You Bring Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner license in good standing WOCN certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months Active BLS certification DEA registration or eligibility to obtain Strong clinical assessment and wound care skills High emotional intelligence and strong patient communication skills Ability to work independently across multiple sites Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care What Sets You Apart 1+ year experience in Internal Medicine and/or Wound Care Leadership experience or strong clinical ownership mindset Ability to stay organized while pivoting quickly between priorities Confidence working autonomously in fast-paced environments Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Work Environment Onsite daily across multiple facilities Part-time schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday Madison service area travel required About Oak Medical SC At Oak Medical SC , we support healthcare professionals serving specialty hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and senior living communities by providing strong administrative infrastructure—allowing clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
