What You Will Do:
Ascension Wisconsin is looking for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for our AMG Oak Creek Clinic! Join a collaborative team of five providers caring for patients of all ages.
Schedule:
Full Time; Clinic hours are 7am-5pm M-F. 2 Saturday mornings a month are required.
Call structure:
No call Practice setting: Outpatient Access to on-site lab Employed position within a nonprofit health system Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care. Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Required Credential(s): Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. One or more of the following: Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s): BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.
