How you'll make an impact in this role Ascension Wisconsin is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Practice Clinician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Hospitalist Department. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients. In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions.

Position Highlights:

7days on/7 days off model 168 day shifts Acute care and inpatient clinical rotation experience during training and/or experience working in an ICU setting would be ideal. Participate in different aspects of care including admissions, cross coverage, patient education,munication with patient's families and consultants, RRTs coverage. Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician. Obtain patient history and performs assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures. Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions. Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options andmunity resources. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care. Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Physician Assistant credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office. Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
