Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings, including primary care, urgent care. Your expertise will help deliver comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with complex medical needs. You will play a vital role in enhancing patient care through clinical excellence and innovative practices. No evenings, no weekends no holidays.
Hours:
Monday -Thurdays 8-5 and Friday 8-1pm. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring to establish accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with DEA regulations. Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties including critical care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and infectious disease care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, for accurate documentation of medical records and medical documentation standards. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals—physicians, nurses, specialists—to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless treatment delivery. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from an accredited program. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Epic, with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology) and ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases). Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent client communication skills paired with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments like urgent care or hospital settings.
