Hands-on live training on DBQ web portal charting for maximum efficiency. About Veteran Medical Group Inc. Founded in San Diego, CA, Veteran Medical Group Inc. (VMG) provides high-quality disability evaluations for military veterans. We offer licensed providers a relaxed, non-clinical entry into military medicine with flexible hours, strong operational support, and a mission-driven culture. Position Overview We are seeking licensed General Medicine Providers ( MD, DO, NP, or PA ) to conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations. You will perform objective physical assessments and complete standardized web portal documentation (DBQs) to help veterans secure their service-connected disability benefits. Key Responsibilities Conduct objective, in-person medical evaluations for military veterans. Complete web portal documentation (Disability Benefit Questionnaires / DBQs) accurately and efficiently. Average exam and charting time ranges from 30 to 60 minutes per veteran. Provide a professional, respectful evaluation experience with no ongoing patient follow-up or care management .
Requirements Credentials:
Active, unrestricted license as an MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) .
Training Availability:
Must be available to travel to Oceanside, CA for our VMG Examiner Training from October 4th - October 9th, 2026 . (Flights, hotel, and conference meals are fully paid by VMG).
Skills:
Strong clinical evaluation skills, attention to detail, and comfortable with web-based charting systems.
