Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or PA to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner or PA will provide medical consultation, follow-ups, routine patient care and perform minor office procedures. The NP/PA is primarily responsible for diagnosing and treating patients of all ages in the office setting. They must have the ability to diagnose and manage common acute and stable chronic diseases. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ordering, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic and laboratory tests and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. Documentation of physical findings and patient care plan will be recorded in the patient's medical record each time the patient is seen. The NP/PA will collaborate with the supervising physician and other health care professionals as needed to prepare patient plan of care. Patient referrals to the physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment will be made appropriately. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, as well as healthcare consumers is a required skill. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' health status through detailed medical histories, and consult with supervising physicians on unusual problems encountered. Wound care including suturing, stapling, incision & drainage. Obtain and interpret basic radiology. Evaluation and management of orthopedic injuries, including splinting. Interpretation of lab results. Reports significant events such as near misses, adverse events, parent/family complaints, and any situation that affects the safe delivery of patient-centered care in a timely manner. Performs pre-operative medical clearances of patients for medical problems and consults with supervising physician on unusual problems encountered. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system for accurate documentation and patient tracking. Perform diagnostic evaluations, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and specimen collection/processing. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.

/Licenses Candidates should have a robust background in various medical environments.Preferred experience includes:
DOT certification required. Will assist with obtaining certification. Completion of and certification in an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner education program. Licenses as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by the State of Wyoming. Current BLS certification. Current DEA certification. Current ACLS certification preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills along with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential to stay updated with the latest advancements in medical practices.Job Type:
