The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care, dementia care, and working with people with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' mental well-being. Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, ensuring any changes are reported to nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Support residents with mobility challenges, including transferring them safely from one location to another. Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times. Participate in ongoing training and development to improve caregiving skills and knowledge of best practices in long-term care. Skills Experience in memory care and dementia care is highly desirable. Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs. Strong understanding of patient care principles and resident rights. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their dignity and independence. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
