Program Start Date:

June 15th, 2026 This learning program is hiring you as a caregiver at Providence where you will be provided compensation for learning & training in preparation for state certification as a CNA. This job will train and prepare you for state certification as a CNA and career path promotion for you to continue to work at Providence after taking the exam. This position requires you to live within commuting distance from Providence Alaska Medical Center. During this program, you are expected to work 8-12-hour shifts, 36-40 hours a week which may be day or night shifts as well as weekends. This program requires full participation and schedule flexibility. Planned or unplanned time off will not be granted during the 12-week educational period. After program completion, the work schedule will be (Three)12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly), any day/night of the week, including weekends in the Float Pool department.

Required Qualifications:

Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS

No direct healthcare or patient care experience required. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
