Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential healthcare services to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, and provide emotional support and companionship.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing 2. Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate 3. Assist with feeding and provide nutritional support to patients 4. Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to nursing staff 5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients 6. Assist with mobility and transfer of patients 7. Keep patient rooms clean and organized 8. Follow proper infection control protocols 9. Document patient care activities accurately and timely 10. Follow all healthcare regulations and protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program 3. Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 5. Compassionate and empathetic nature 6. Ability to work well in a team environment 7. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients 8.
