Director of Nursing Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care and support to clients receiving substance abuse treatment services. The CNA assists with daily living activities, monitors client well-being, and supports the nursing team in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment. Key Responsibilities Client Care & Support Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and personal care Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.) Observe and report changes in client behavior, mood, or physical condition to nursing staff Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients in recovery Program Support Assist with client transportation when needed (appointments, pharmacy, etc.) Support nursing staff during medication times (non-administration role unless otherwise authorized) Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within the facility Ensure client compliance with program rules and daily schedules Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and observations Communicate effectively with nurses, counselors, and other team members Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required Qualifications Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred Experience working with substance abuse or mental health populations is a plus Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Work Schedule & Pay Full-time and part-time positions available Shifts may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay Range:
$14.00 - 18.00 (based on experience)
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
