Certified Nursing Assistant - Supply Coordinator Oaks on Parkwood - Highlands
Hoover, AL Pay Rate Frequency:
Hourly Summary of Duties Coordinate purchase of medical supplies, office supplies, forms, and equipment. Organize the storage and catalog location of supplies and equipment for efficient handling and to prevent deterioration. Input data and processes information to designated sources. Performs resident care duties as assigned. Essential Job Functions 1. Issues and delivers supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures. 2. Assists in developing methods for determining quantity of supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE), and equipment required and inventory control. 3. Fills requisitions, as approved, and files in accordance with established policies and procedures. 4. Checks invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips with incoming merchandise. 5. Assists in preparing correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipments, etc., and return to vendor as required. 6. Provides personal care and activities of daily living (ADL's) care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. 7. Keeps residents rooms and resident care areas clean and neat. 8. Participates in the orientation of new residents to facility. 9. Documents care as instructed and required. 10. Reports all changes in the resident's condition (i.e., areas of redness, skin tears, bruising, mental status change, eating habits, etc.) to the charge nurse. 11. Assists in transporting resident to/from dining room, therapy, activity and social programs, etc., as necessary. 12. Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed. 13. Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc., as necessary, utilizing appropriate techniques. 14. Performs other duties as directed and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. Education & Experience Must possess a current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Alabama or obtain certification within 120 days of hire. Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred. Experience in medical/surgical supply environment preferred.
