Nursing Full Job Description Overview:
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited program of nursing Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CDI reviewer at an inpatient facility for at least 2 of the last 3 years. Working knowledge of data analysis and computer spreadsheet software Well-developed leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Licensed as a RN in the state of
Alabama Desired Qualifications BSN Responsibilities:
Provides leadership to CDI department concerning staffing, assignments, and morning reports. Provides leadership that facilitates improvement in the overall quality, completeness, and accuracy of medical record documentation. Acts as liaison between CDI staff and Director. Facilitates education to physicians and others to improve the capture of clinical severity for the level of service rendered. Identifies process improvement opportunities and supports the timely and accurate capture of measurements to improve patient outcomes.
