  • Bella Vista is currently accepting applications for days, evening and overnight shifts (7 am to 3 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am).
The desirable candidate will be dependable, compassionate toward the senior population, have the ability to respond to on-the-job training, and be able to pass a background check. Certification is not required. Responsibilities include assist residents with ADL's and environmental orientation as needed. Assist with preparation of dining room and serving of meals. Assist with minimal housekeeping and laundry services. Observe residents and report any variances. Provide services according to the care plan. Assist with medication management and assistance according to Arkansas State regulations. Knowledge of standard precautions and infection control as well as knowledge of procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, and work safety. Other duties as assigned. Full time Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO per year (accrual starts at the hire date), double time and a half for 6 major holidays (after 90 days of employment), insurance stipend, and meals provided during your shift. Responsibilities:
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
  • Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a nursing assistant or in a related role preferred
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, medical office procedures, DME (durable medical equipment), hospice care, and patient assessment is a plus
  • Familiarity with medication administration and basic physiology knowledge is beneficial
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
